Amy thinks better of leaving her secure location and does nothing. A while after Diana's screams die out, there is the cracking sound of splintering wood. The KILLER has found an axe and is smashing his way through. The door is soon nothing but kindling, and he lunges through the doorway.
Amy makes a last ditch effort for the window, but the KILLER buries his axe in her back. Her forward momentum carries her through it, but Amy is dead before she hits the ground.
