Amy gets up and goes to Nick, giving the smoldering corpse of the KILLER as wide a berth as possible. Just as she is almost clear, the KILLER comes to life and grabs Amy's ankle. She screams and falls to the ground.
Nick: Jesus!
Amy: Help me!
Nick runs over and kicks the KILLER in the face. He releases his grip on Amy and falls to his side. Nick goes to kick him again, but the KILLER lunges at him and they both land in a heap. Amy gets up and looks around for a weapon. Nick is beating on the KILLER with his good arm, but the KILLER grabs his fist and twists hard. Even from across the room, Amy hears bones snap. Nick screams, as the KILLER gets on top of him.
Amy finds an ax and runs at the KILLER, with it raises over her head. She brings it down, burying it in the KILLER's head. He sits there for a moment, before falling to the side. Amy helps Nick to his feet and they leave the house together.
