Amy motions to the cab driver to wait a second and goes back inside the house. She calls downstairs.
Amy: Jenn. Cab's here.
No answer, so she goes halfway down the basement stairs.
Amy: Jenn?
Still no answer. Amy walks down into the basement.
Amy: Jenn, what the fuck? You fall asleep?
Amy suddenly spies several bloodied bodies and screams. A man dressed in black and wearing a cheap Halloween mask steps out of the furnace room. Amy screams again and runs back up the stairs. They are open at the side and the KILLER clips one of her legs with his machete. Amy shrieks in pain and stumbles, but manages to limp up the rest of the stairs. Amy reaches the top of the stairs and runs into the cab driver.
Cabbie: What the hell's going on down there?
Amy: (screaming) Let's get out here!
The cabbie notices her bloodied leg.
Cabbie: What happened to your leg?
The KILLER appears in the doorway, grabs the cabbie and throws him into the living room. The KILLER follows after him and quickly slices the cabbie to pieces with his machete. Amy is leaning against the wall. She opens the door closest to her, as she knows she likely won't make it to the front door.
Amy goes into the garage and limps to the door, but it won't open. She turns to see the KILLER is advancing on her. She grabs the nearest item available and hurls it at the KILLER. It is a jar of gasoline and it smashes into his face. He is momentarily stunned, as the gas gets into his eyes. Amy sees a barbecue lighter on the shelf and grabs it, but with a few clicks realizes it is out of gas.
The KILLER recovers and slashes Amy across the chest. She screams and goes down in a bloodied heap. She tries to get up on her hands & knees, but the KILLER brings his boot down on her head, crushing her skull.
